Education
We will work with Capel Manor College, local nature conservation organisations and other educationalists to develop an educational programme involving guided vineyard tours to learn about viticulture, organic farming methods, local food production, climate change, local biodiversity and sustainability in order to broaden public knowledge and awareness of these issues. We will also work with other social enterprises in the hospitality training sector to develop interesting work experience for trainee wine waiters from East London to help them gain a “hands on” understanding of wine production from vine to glass. We will develop a range of short training courses aimed at local gardeners, allotment holders, hobby wine makers and anyone interested in learning more about growing vines or making wine at home.
